The story of the Samarthya Foundation for Special Education is not just about establishing an organization; it is a testament to a parent’s unconditional love, struggle, and resilience.

Our journey began in 2018 when our Chairman, a civil engineer by profession, and his wife, who serves as the Trust’s Secretary, welcomed a beautiful daughter following a cesarean birth. As she grew, she was diagnosed with developmental challenges. They quickly realized a harsh reality: in our society, disability is often still viewed as a taboo or a stigma. However, instead of hiding or accepting defeat, they chose to fight this societal ignorance.

To provide their daughter with the best possible care, guidance, and treatment, they both dedicated themselves to studying and mastering RCI-approved special education courses. A father’s unwavering determination to make his daughter self-reliant ultimately laid the foundation for this registered charitable trust.

What started as a deeply personal quest by two parents to empower their own child has now evolved into a beacon of hope for all Divyangjan. Today, the Samarthya Foundation is committed to building a barrier-free and inclusive society through high-quality special educator training, expert clinical therapies (Speech, Physio, and Occupational Therapy), and vocational skill development.

We believe that behind every challenge lies immense ‘Samarthya’ (potential)—it just needs the right guidance to shine.
